On behalf of ecoCaledon and TRCA, I’d like to thank all of you, the community artists, and students for being a part of the second annual Paint a Picture for Water Conservation – Caledon’s Rain Barrel Artist’s and School Collection. It was truly a pleasure working with all of you over the past couple of months and we have heard nothing but praise for the beautiful rain barrels you created.

The school event was amazing, the students were so engaged in the program. At Caledon Day, many students dropped by our booth with their friends and family to show their barrel. Our goal is to raise awareness for and excitement around water conservation, and couldn’t have asked for a better group to work with for our second year.

On behalf of ecoCaledon and TRCA, I’d like to thank all of you that placed bids for our lovely hand painted Rain Saver Barrels.

This program created a lot of excitement within the schools and community. We achieved our goals of promoting the use of rain barrels, water conservation, and educating the public about the re-use of rain water at home.

Proceeds from this auction will be used to support the environmental education efforts of ecoCaledon.
