Carol Seglins Education Bursary
Take Your Environmental Efforts and Earn a Bursary Towards Your University or College Education!!
Bursary Objective:
The objective of the ecoCaledon Bursary is to encourage academic excellence and increase the awareness of environmental efforts and studies.
Number and Amount of Awards:
A $400.00 bursary will be provided to one student in each of the public and Catholic secondary schools within the Town of Caledon: St. Michaels, Humberview, Robert F Hall, Mayfield.
Eligibility:
To be eligible for the bursary, the applicant must be:
- A full time secondary school student or have completed high school in the application year.
- Accepted into a Canadian University or College
Application:
An application must be submitted in writing to the ecoCaledon Bursary committee no later than May 15th for a spring grad or June 30th for a fall grad and be accompanied with proof of all eligibility requirements.
Each applicant must also submit a brief description of:
- Community involvement and extracurricular activities in the area of environmental studies
- Outside interests and hobbies
- Career and educational objectives
