The Headwaters Food and Farming Alliance(HFFA) vision is “a food system that is productive, sustainable, transparent, and fair; supports the health and well-being of our residents and food providers; and contributes to the prosperous and equitable economy. The HFFA runs Education workshops where local farmers visit classrooms discussing framing, local food club providing recopies and where to get local ingredients, and Family Food Classes (cook recopies together with other community members (see Headwaters Food Farming projects in the HFFA web site)
In the Hills Magazine features many local businesses that contribute to reversing global Warming; https;//www.inthehills.ca They host the online version of the Headwaters Farm Fresh Guide and distribute the hardcopy of the Guide in their magazine each spring.
